Current Programs


Future Builders, Inc provided tutorial services to over 650 students from 1990 - 2003 in the Lifelong Learning Tutorial Program for students grades K through 6th focusing on building academic skills in reading, math, writing and creative arts. This is one of the cornerstone programs of the organization. 

HIV/AIDS Awareness

The "It's Your Choice HIV Prevention and Awareness Program" is designed to inform at-risk populations of the dangers involved with risky sexual behaviors. The program targets youth and adults in Pulaski and surrounding counties. 

Retired Seniors Volunteer Program

Future Builders currently sponsors the Retired Seniors Volunteer Program (RSVP) where over 800 senior volunteers put their skills and life experiences to work in community based organizations across the state of Arkansas.

Behavior Modification Program

Behavior Modification (B-Mod Project) the aim of this character skills training is to correct negative aggressive behavior patterns in youth and adolescents through a series of behavior modification sessions.

Health on the Streets

Health on the Streets is an integral component of the Future Builders Community health Initiative. It was modeled after similar successful programs throughout the nation, which emanated out of a request from community members who said they wanted someone who "looks like me and talks like me" to improve the quality of health and human services in the community.  

Catch Them Young Tobacco Prevention Program

The Catch Them Young Tobacco Prevention Program is funded through the Minority Initiative Sub-Recipient Grant Office (MISRGO) - University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. The goal of the program is to provide tobacco prevention messages to youth and adults in communities of Pulaski, Faulkner and Lonoke counties.
